MISSION STATEMENT

The Grey Box Eucalyptus microcarpa Grassy Woodland is an officially endangered vegetation community. In spite of this, there is a continuing piecemeal felling of native trees throughout the Mitcham Hills.

The current State Significant Tree Legislation protects only very large individual trees but affords no protection to a community of trees, no matter how significant.
